I handle the weekday morning and midday news on 1150 WIMA.
I also take care of our news content on the web, Facebook, etc.
During the high school football season, I'm busy back at the station updating our text score updates, gathering final scores, and getting them on during Touchdown Ticker every Friday night from 10p-11p.
I also enjoy being the host of the weekly Buckeye Tailgate Parties during the football season.
Todd also throws me a bone once in a while as well, getting to do play-by-play for area games on our broadcast schedule.

Another season of Buckeyes football is here, and we are your local play-by-play home! Urban Meyer takes over the OSU program, and expectations are high as usual, even though this year's team cannot play for a Big 10 title or participate in a bowl game, due to NCAA violations.
The Buckeyes rolled last week, after a bit of a slow start. Central Florida comes to the Shoe with some athletes, and coach Urban Meyer is very familiar with their program, from his days as the head Gator. Todd Walker plays host this Saturday from the WIMA studios from 9:30 to 10:30am, then we join the Buckeye Radio Network for all the play by play on "Scarlet and Gray Day" at Ohio Stadium!
The OSU football team has some concerns; one of those is the number of carries their spead formation QB, Braxton Miller, is getting. And now, with Carlos Hyde injured, and Jordan Hall still not quite 100 percent, someone needs to step up at the RB position.
The Buckeyes fought off UFC last week 31-16 on a cool late summer day last week at Ohio Stadium. This week, the "Bad News" Bears from Cal roll in.
Todd Walker plays host this Saturday from the WIMA studios from 9:30 to 10:30am, then we join the Buckeye Radio Network for all the play by play, with kickoff at Noon!
Last week, we saw the offense struggle, the defense miss way too many tackles, and yet the Buckeyes found a way to win over the Cal Bears 35-28.
Personally, I had a great day at the Shoe, representing the radio station on Buckeye-IMG Sports Radio Affiliate Day. My face got a bit too much sun, but the OSU win eased the pain a bit.
Join us this Saturday from the WIMA studios from 9:30 to 10:30am, as I return to my hosting duties. We'll join the Buckeye Radio Network for all the play by play, with the kickoff at Noon!
Last week, another somewhat unimpressive performance by OSU in their 29-15 win over UAB. Urban Meyer said after the game "If we don't play better than this, we will lose." But, they are 4-0, with a chance to go 5-0.
This week, the "real season" begins, as the Buckeyes not only hit the road for the first time, but they step into conference play against Sparty in East Lansing.
Join us this Saturday from the WIMA studios from 1 to 2pm, as we chat with several guests about the Buckeyes. We'll join the Buckeye Radio-IMG Sports Network for all the play by play, with the kickoff at 3:30pm!
