Army Corps of Engineers to hold Meetings in Findlay

The Findlay Courier reports the Corps will host public meetings next week at the Hancock County Agriculture Service Center on County Road 140.

The Army Corps of Engineers wants to meet with land owners in areas that they want to access to gather more flood control study information.

The Findlay Courier reports the Corps will host public meetings next week at the Hancock County Agriculture Service Center on County Road 140.

A realty specialist from the Corps will discuss the value and importance of obtaining rights-of-entry on various properties within the study area.

Surveys and assessments on cultural resources, the environment, wetland de-lineation, and threatened and endangered species are expected to begin later this month.

The meetings will be held Wednesday May 9 from 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday May 10 from 9 to 11 a.m.
