Midwest Electric Cooperative recently assisted 18 West-Central Ohio charities and community organizations through its Community Connection Fund.

Some examples of how the over 13-thousand dollars was used is the St Mary's Township Firefighters getting 15-hundred dollars to pay for new pagers.

Also- the Lima-Allen College Access program received 1-thousand dollars.

The program began back in 1998- and has donated over 700-thousand dollars.
