PUCO Holds Public Hearing on AEP Rate Hike Proposal in Lima

Testimony from the public was allowed- and will be recorded and reviewed by the Public Utilities Commission- before a decision is handed down on whether or not to allow A-E-P to increase their rates.

The final of 4 state-wide public hearings- concerning a modified rate increase proposal by American Electric Power- was held by the P-U-C-O in Lima on Thursday night.

Testimony from the public was allowed- and will be recorded and reviewed by the Public Utilities Commission- before a decision is handed down on whether or not to allow A-E-P to increase their rates.

Marcel Wagner from the Allen Economic Development Group spoke.

About 10 people who attended put comments officially on the record.

Evidentiary hearings at the P-U-C-O start later this month.
