Rosebrock had the honor of cutting the ribbon for the renaming. He served as health commissioner for 39 years.

A ceremony inside and outside of the Allen County Health Department Building on Friday was held in honor of recently retired health commissioner Dave Rosebrock.

The building has been renamed in his honor.

He said it felt different being in the building on Friday as a visitor.

Rosebrock had the honor of cutting the ribbon for the renaming.

He served as health commissioner for 39 years.
