Putnam Co Farmer Injured in Accident

A nitrogen applicator was involved in the accident. Emergency crews were called just after 5:30pm.

A Putnam County farmer was flown to Lima Memorial Hospital after rescue workers freed him from under the tire of a farm tractor that had rolled onto its side late Wednesday afternoon.

The Putnam County Sheriff's office said first responders from Pandora Fire Department and Ottawa Heavy Rescue used air bags to free 62 year-old Daryl Bridenbaugh from under the tractor in a field along Road M-6 in Riley Township.

A nitrogen applicator was involved in the accident. Emergency crews were called just after 5:30pm.

Bridenbaugh was last listed in serious condition.
