Lilliy Hollon died after her Lincoln Town Car pulled out and was struck by a semi on Spencerville Road at the intersection with Kemp Road.

An 80 year-old woman from Wapakoneta was involved in Allen County's first fatal accident of 2012 on Tuesday.

Lilliy Hollon died after her Lincoln Town Car pulled out and was struck by a semi on Spencerville Road at the intersection with Kemp Road.

The accident happened around 10:30 on Tuesday morning.

Hollon's vehicle ended up in a ditch near the intersection.

Shawnee Township Authorities- along with the Sheriff's Department- responded.

She was pronounced dead on the scene.
