Co-chairing the effort is Chris Jackson of the Lima Fire Department.

Volunteers were recruited- and committees were formed- at a meeting designed to drum up support for the passage of a levy for Lima City Schools this fall.

Co-chairing the effort is Chris Jackson of the Lima Fire Department.

Jackson said he has a personal investment- and that's why he decided to volunteer as the co-chair.

Numbers were discussed as well on what will happen if the levy once again does not pass.
