The driver of an SUV, driving northbound on Cool Road, pulled into the path of the semi as it was westbound on U.S. 30. The semi struck the SUV, then rolled.

A semi rolled on to its side- and slowed traffic on Route 30 on Thursday morning.

The accident occurred at about 9 a.m. near Beaverdam, according to the Allen County Sheriff’s Office. The driver of an SUV, driving northbound on Cool Road, pulled into the path of the semi as it was westbound on U.S. 30. The semi struck the SUV, then rolled.

The driver of the semi was taken to Lima Memorial Health System. The SUV driver was taken to St. Rita’s Medical Center. The injuries were reported as not life threatening- and their names have not been released.
