The patrol reports a man and woman from Michigan are facing charges after 320 Oxycontin and 60 Xanax pills were found in a car during a traffic stop
The Findlay post of the State Highway Patrol has made its second drug bust in the last week.
The patrol reports a man and woman from Michigan are facing charges after 320 Oxycontin and 60 Xanax pills were found in a car during a traffic stop. Troopers pulled over the car driven by 31-year-old Senta Walls for following another car too closely on Tuesday afternoon on I-75 near the State Route 12 exit.
A press release from the patrol says troopers smelled raw marijuana in the car and observed criminal indicators. A probable cause search led to the pills being found in a console. A passenger, 24-year-old Bernard Wilson, has also been charged in the case. Both Walls and Wilson are facing eight years in prison and $15-thousand dollar fines on the possession charges.
Last Friday another Michigan man was taken into custody for illegally transporting prescription pain killers after troopers stopped to help him fix a flat tire.
