People are getting bogus checks in the mail ranging from 4-thousand to 10-thousand dollars.

The Better Business Bureau wants you to be on the look out for a counterfeit check scam.

People are getting bogus checks in the mail ranging from 4-thousand to 10-thousand dollars.

After receiving the check- victims get a phone call or email saying they have won the money.

In order to claim it- they need to send back some money to pay for administrative fees.

Recipients who receive suspicious packages should report it to the local Better Business Bureau at 419-223-7010.
