Lima Police have noticed an increase of reports of mini-bikes- scooters- and motorized wheelchairs on neighborhood streets.

Lieutenant Pat Coon wants to make sure the public- and the mostly young operators of these vehicles- know the rules and regulations.

The mini bikes and scooters are not allowed on public roadways- unless they are licensed- and riders are 16 and older.

Motorized wheelchairs should be operated with pedestrian rules- going against traffic on the side of the road- or on sidewalks only.
