Man Accused of Killing His Brother Withdraws Insanity Plea

In Allen County Court on Monday- Ream's attorney- Greg Donohue- informed Judge Richard Warren that a not guilty by reason of insanity plea was being withdrawn.

More items were placed on the record in the case leading up to the trial of 55 year-old James Ream- who has been charged with the murder of his brother- 62 year-old Ronald Ream- last October in Shawnee Township.

In Allen County Court on Monday- Ream's attorney- Greg Donohue- informed Judge Richard Warren that a not guilty by reason of insanity plea was being withdrawn.

Prosecutors also pointed out that they had not received a potential witness list from the defense. Donohue said that would be filed by the close of business on Monday.

The trial is set to begin on August 13th.
