Truck Hauling Detergent Catches on Fire near Beaverdam

When troopers arrived on the scene- the truck was fully engulfed in flames.

The Lima Post of the State Highway Patrol is looking into a semi-tractor fire which occurred on the I-75 exit ramp to State Route 696 at Beaverdam early Tuesday morning.

When troopers arrived on the scene- the truck was fully engulfed in flames.

The trailer contained over 41-thousand pounds of Tide laundry detergent picked up from Lima.

The driver, Bal-want Gill of San Dimas, California, was not injured. 

The Beaverdam Fire Department and Allen County E-M-A assisted at the scene.
