Lima Man Resentenced to Life Without Parole

Demond Jones- convicted and sentenced last September for the robbery and murder of Marjorie Williams- was ordered to be re-sentenced by the 3rd district court of appeals.

A Lima man already serving a life sentence without the possibility for parole was back in Allen County Court on Thursday.

Demond Jones- convicted and sentenced last September for the robbery and murder of Marjorie Williams- was ordered to be re-sentenced by the 3rd district court of appeals.

County Prosecutor Juergen Waldick explained that recent changes from the Supreme Court forced the re-sentencing.

The life sentence without parole was continued for Jones.
