The City of Lima's Safety Services Committee met last night to discuss parking in the downtown area- and the recent discussion to remove all downtown parking enforcement.
Executive Director of Downtown Lima Incorporated- Aubree Kaye- does not believe that would be a good thing for downtown business owners.
All members of the committee also agreed with Kaye- and will not be getting rid of parking enforcement.
Councilman Kurt Neeper said the Committee needs to update the enforcement of downtown parking to a more modern plan.
They will continue further discussions about the parking situation.
