A crash on Thursday morning in southwestern Hancock County critically injured a boy from Bluffton.

The Hancock County Sheriff's Office is investigating a two vehicle accident at Hancock County Road 29 and State Route 235 which occurred just after 10am..15 year-old Christian Bame was eastbound on 29 when he failed to stop at the intersection and struck a vehicle driven by 43 year-old Gregory Winegardner of Ada.

16 year-old Schuyler Dunlap, a passenger in Bame's vehicle, was taken to St. Rita's Medical Center by LifeFlight- were he was listed in critical condition..

Bame, Winegardner and another passenger- 15 year-old Nathan Winegardner- were not injured. Bame was sited for driving with only a temporary permit and failure to stop.
