Findlay Man Dies after Single Car Accident

Findlay Police responded to the scene just before 9am.. A white Chevy truck was traveling westbound on West Main Cross in the intersection and drove off the right side of the roadway, striking the curb.

A Findlay man was killed following a crash at West Main Cross Street and Stanford Parkway on Friday morning.

Findlay Police responded to the scene just before 9am.. A white Chevy truck was traveling westbound on West Main Cross in the intersection and drove off the right side of the roadway, striking the curb.

The vehicle traveled northwest through a yard, private drive and struck a decorative fence at Findlay Animal Clinic.

Fifty nine year-old Richard Oats was transported to Blanchard Valley Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

A medical issue with the driver may have been the cause of the accident.
