American Electric Power has been busy over the past few months- and they have more work planned.

A little over 200 thousand AEP Ohio customers throughout the service territory will receive updated electric meters over the next several months as the company expands the use of automated meter reading technology.

The project is expected to start in the Lima area roughly around September 4th- and should be completed by the first quarter in 2013.
