Auglaize Co Represented at State Fair Junior Livestock Sale of Champions

The Grand champion market beef category- selling for 70-thousand dollars- was exhibited by Danielle Heintz of Auglaize County.

The Junior Fair exhibitors were at the Sale of Champions Livestock Auction on the final day of the Ohio State Fair on Sunday.

Exhibitors receive some of the money with the rest going to the fair’s Youth Reserve Program for scholarships and other programs.

The Grand champion market beef category- selling for 70-thousand dollars- was exhibited by Danielle Heintz of Auglaize County.

The Reserve grand champion market beef was from Fulton County.

Last year’s sale brought in a record 316-thousand dollars- and this year’s total surpassed that. The sale has been a tradition since 1968.
