Brown issued a statement- saying that he hopes both parties can achieve a fair contract that would bring all of the employees back to work.

Democratic Senator Sherrod Brown was in Lima over the weekend.

He met with striking Husky Energy workers on Saturday morning.

Brown issued a statement- saying that he hopes both parties can achieve a fair contract that would bring all of the employees back to work.

He also submitted letters to both the company and to the United Steelworkers labor union.

The strike has been going on since May 25th.
