A next door neighbor- an employee of the Shawnee BP gas station- and 2 members of the sheriff's department all took the stand for the prosecution- in their case against James Ream on Monday- who is facing charges in the shooting death of his older brother Ronald- at their home on Fairgreen in Shawnee Township last October.
Assitant Prosecutor Tony Miller gave the state's opening remarks.
Ream's attorney- Greg Donohue- said it was an unfortunate incident.
Deputy Jerry Kress said on October 18th of last year- James Ream approached him in a parking lot near the Sheriff's office- and told him that the night before- he shot his brother..
