Ream Found Guilty; Jury Deliberates For Only One Hour

Judge Richard Warren handed down a 15 years to life sentence- plus 3 years for a gun specification.

A jury deliberated for only about one full hour- before coming to a decision of guilty- in the case of the state versus 58 year-old James Ream on Wednesday.

Ream was charged in the shooting death of his brother- Ronald- last October in the home they shared in Shawnee Township.

Family members were given a chance to speak.

Ream was combative with both his own children- and Ronald's family members who spoke..
