McComb man injured in Weekend Accident

The sheriff's office says the driver was 37 year-old Jeff Womack of McComb.

A car went into a ditch and went airborne- struck a mailbox- and rolled into a livestock fence in Hancock County early Sunday morning.

The sheriff's office says the driver was 37 year-old Jeff Womack of McComb.

It took place before 6-30am on US 224 west of township road 136.

Womack was extricated from the vehicle- and was transported by Life Flight to Saint Vincents in Toledo.

The accident is still under investigation.
