A much higher bid for construction materials than expected had the Allen County Engineer's Office back before the county commissioners on Wednesday.

Assistant Engineer Brion Rhodes said it deals with the work on the Bentley Road Bridge- which has been closed since February.

The new bidding process for the beams and materials needed will re-open on October 5th..Rhodes said they're still hoping to have the bridge done by the end of the year.
