Brian Smith- the President and C-E-O of Saint Rita's Health Partners- said in a press release on Friday that the majority of the layoffs were in management and support areas.

Allen County's largest employer has eliminated 60 jobs.

Technology changes- which include the implementation of the Care-Path electronic medical record system- eliminate the needs for some medical transcription positions.
