Barry Ruben, who was also the president of the Lima Bargain Center, died Tuesday at the age of 71.

One of the men behind the Lima Locos baseball franchise has died..

Barry Ruben, who was also the president of the Lima Bargain Center, died Tuesday at the age of 71.

Ruben ran both the Lima Bargain Center and Lima Floor Covering Outlet, following in the footsteps of his father and grandfather.

Visitation for Ruben will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday at the Chiles-Laman Funeral Chapel in Shawnee.

The Bargain Center and Floor Covering stores will be closed on Thursday in Ruben's honor.

He is survived by his wife and three daughters.
