The Findlay Courier reports they'll be visiting more congressional offices today to line up support and to get tips on how to deal with the issue at the federal level.

A six-member regional delegation spent Wednesday in Washington, D.C., as they talked about the Blanchard River flood control study and pleaded for federal monies.

Members of the trip include Findlay Mayor Lydia Mihalik, Ottawa Mayor Dean Meyer, former Hancock County Engineer Steve Wilson, and Hancock County Commissioner Phil Riegle.

Tony Iriti- the former Findlay mayor and former Northwest Ohio Flood Mitigation Partnership president- is also part of the delegation.
