The Ohio Attorney General's Office and the Bureau of Workers Compensation announced late last week that a man from Celina has been convicted of defrauding the workers compensation system.

39 year-old Jason Dross pleaded guilty back in November.

He was sentenced to pay the state more than 31-thousand dollars in restitution.

Dross was caught on camera by undercover detectives working out at a local gym- lifting heavy weights.

He had filed a claim that he had suffered a workplace injury- leaving him unable to lift more than 10 pounds.

Dross also received 3 years community control- and 9 months of jail time were suspended.
