business owners of Downtown Lima voiced the need of a full time Streetscape maintenance position- to keep Town Square’s appearance up to par throughout the year.
Lima City Budget Hearings continued last night in Council Chambers- as business owners of Downtown Lima voiced the need of a full time Streetscape maintenance position- to keep Town Square’s appearance up to par throughout the year.
First Ward Councilman Kurt Neeper says he fully supports development in the downtown area- but is also asking who would be ultimately responsible for the maintenance.
The proposed salary for this position is more than 46-thousand dollars- a figure that will likely be discussed in future finance committee meetings.
The City Budget overall was passed by the finance committee- and will go before Lima City Council of the Whole for approval on February 11th.
