The Trooper of the Year Award was given to Shawn Cook from the Van Wert Post.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol has announced the winners of their state-wide 2012 Leadership Awards.
The Trooper of the Year Award was given to Shawn Cook from the Van Wert Post.
During 2012- Cook led the Van Wert Post in OVI and seat belt enforcement- and was their top case investigator.
Another award winner from the Findlay District was Mike Hankins for Maintenance Repair.
Hankins operates from the Lima Post.
