A motion was made at the committee meeting to raise the Secretary’s salary to 15-thousand dollars a year.

Last night Lima City Council’s Human Resource committee had a discussion in regards to the salary of the Civil Service Secretary- Andy King.

Right now- he gets paid 5-thousand dollars for his services.

Seventh Ward Councilwoman- Paige Townsend- explained why King’s salary was originally cut.

A motion was made at the committee meeting to raise the Secretary’s salary to 15-thousand dollars a year.

This motion will now go in front of Lima City Council.
