Close to 38-thousand crashes in Ohio last year were caused by a driver failing to yield- killing 187 people- and injuring over 23-thousand.

Far too many crashes in Ohio happen each year in result of motorists running red lights- stop signs or failing to yield to traffic.

In fact- these violations were the second highest cause of fatal crashes in 20-12- and that is why the State Highway Patrol is urging motorists to take their time- ensure that cross traffic is stopped or clear- and obey all traffic signs and signals.
