Democrats blasted the Governor's proposals for education funding and using turnpike revenues to pay for road projects throughout the state.

Republicans took a somewhat cautious tone on some of the Governor's proposals like sales tax and Medicaid expansions.

When asked about some of the Kasich proposals both House Speaker Bill Batchelder and Senate President Keith Faber said they wanted to take more time to look at some of the plans in depth.

Democrats blasted the Governor's proposals for education funding and using turnpike revenues to pay for road projects throughout the state.

They aren't keen on his plan to cut income taxes either saying that will only benefit the wealthiest Ohioans.
