A former teacher and coach at Kalida High School has been convicted of sexual battery, three counts of gross sexual imposition and importuning.

A jury of nine women and three men came to the decision yesterday (Thursday) in Putnam County court against Jeremy Stober- who faces up to 10 years in prison when sentenced.

Judge Randall Basinger said sentencing will occur in the next three weeks- as Stober will remain in police custody.

The jury acquitted Stober on one count of gross sexual imposition, tampering with evidence and attempted sexual battery.

The trial lasted 3 full days.
