A married couple from Kenton is facing felony drug charges after State Highway Patrol troopers seized 165 individually wrapped units of heroin, 18 Oxycodone pills and 66 Xanax pills,

A married couple from Kenton is facing felony drug charges after State Highway Patrol troopers seized 165 individually wrapped units of heroin, 18 Oxycodone pills and 66 Xanax pills, worth more than $107-thousand dollars following a traffic stop on Monday in Allen County.

The Lima Post received a call of a possible impaired driver on State Route 309.

Troopers responded to the area near Bowman Road in Bath Township around 5-30pm.

54 year-old Keith Whitmore was arrested for O-V-I. During a search, a trooper located the pills and $650 in cash.

35 year-old Kelly Whitmore produced the individually wrapped heroin.

Both suspects were taken to the Allen County Jail, and charged with possession of heroin, which is a second-degree felony.
