Two former County Commissioners were honored for their years of public service on Wednesday.
Current Allen County Commissioner Jay Begg read individual proclamations for Dan Reiff and Sam Bassitt.
Reiff said they did a lot of hard work- but it was enjoyable.
Bassitt commented that they worked with quality people around them.
Both Reiff and Bassitt served as Commissioners from 2003 to 2013.
