A sci-fi action time loop that will keep you guessing!
In the not-so-distant future man evolves to a level where killing is not only illegal, but can be immediately tracked. This is not a happy evolution for underground cartels and mobs, that is until the invention of the time-machine. Now when someone needs extermination they are sent to the past to face the Looper's; Contracted hit men who take out "future" problems.
This is a simple job for most Looper's including Joe (Joseph Gordon-Levitt), a man that wants nothing more than to take out his contract then head home to drugs, women and debauchery. Unfortunately, nothing is always simple, which Joe finds out when the older version of himself shows up on the killing floor. And while young Joe has the gun, Old Joe (Bruce Willis) has the experience. And experience wins out as Joe finds out that his Older Self has come back to make changes and because of his slip-up the current day mob wants both versions of Joe dead! Young Joe's only option is to kill his older self and close the Loop before it closes on and kills him.
