Lima, OH (WIMA) -- Members of Midwest Electric Co-op recently donated more than 13-thousand dollars to 13 West Central Ohio charities and community projects through their Community Connection Fund.
Some of the recipients of the fund included State of the Heart Hospice getting 2-thousand dollars to buy products.
GrandLakeChristianSchool of Saint Mary’s also received 2-thousand dollars to buy a computer and printer.
Lima's VeteransMemorialCivicCenter received 1-thousand dollars to support the Haunted Illusions family events.
The Midwest Electric Community Connection Fund is a voluntary charitable program- where participating members’ monthly electric bills are rounded up to the next dollar with additional pennies going toward the fund.
