Lima, OH (WIMA) - Senator Sherrod Brown's office said that the Senate has passed the National Defense Authorization Act, which will include authorizations for projects that will sustain and support the workforce at Lima’s Joint Systems Manufacturing Center.
In a statement, Brown said “This investment will allow Lima workers to continue their vital national security work while also bolstering northwest Ohio’s economy.”
The funding authorized in the Senate bill will support Abrams Tank Upgrades and Modifications ($1.8 billion) and Stryker Upgrades ($793 million).
