Lima, OH (WIMA) - The Allen County Sheriff's Office is reporting an attempted armed robbery that occurred at Family Dollar in the Northland Plaza around 8pm on Sunday night.
Two suspects entered the business and one brandished a handgun, pointing it at an employee and demanded money.
A short struggle ensued and the two suspects fled.
One of the suspects fired a single round into a glass door.
Both suspects wore hoodies and green Halloween masks.
Lima Police are also looking into two similar events that occurred Sunday night.
